Connecticut Daylily Society Daylily Sale 2021
The Connecticut Daylily Society is pleased to welcome guests to our scaled-down Region 4 Regional Weekend. There is no registration fee, but we have had some modest expenses. Therefore, we have assembled an online, preorder and prepay bareroot Daylily Sale. The following daylilies are available for you to preorder. We have planned two possible pickup dates for you, and we are hopeful you can arrange to receive (i.e., pick up) your order Saturday, May 29 between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM OR Saturday, July 17 between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The pick-up location will be the Garden of Cheryl Fox, 27 Duncaster Road, Bloomfield, CT 06002. We ask that you arrange to pickup your order this year, as mailing them may result in their being out of the ground for several more days than they would be otherwise. They cannot be mailed until the several daylily growers are able to convene and assemble the orders, hence the extended timeframe. If you must have your daylilies mailed, they will be packaged over Memorial Day Weekend and brought to the post office Tuesday, June 1. Exact mailing costs vary by weight and distance, so we are requesting a mailing fee of $15.50 for up to four daylilies, and $21.90 for more than four daylilies. These are the current priority USPS flat rates for a medium priority mail flat rate box and a large priority mail flat rate box, respectively. We may, however, use non-flat rate priority mail boxes for southern New England orders. We are not able to ship to Canada. Orders for July 17 are for pickup ONLY at the time of the CT Daylily Society Region 4 Regional Meeting. Mailing daylilies in July in Connecticut is not advisable.
1.) Please list your selected plants in an email to Gary Jones at: [email protected]. All plants will have at least two fans unless otherwise indicated.
2.) Please carefully calculate your total cost, adding postage at the rates above if your order must be mailed. Indicate preferred pickup date.
3.) Include your full contact information including mailing address and email.
4.) When your order is acknowledged, please make your payment check out to CONNECTICUT DAYLILY SOCIETY and mail to: Cheryl Fox, Treasurer. 27 Duncaster Road, Bloomfield, CT 06002 The daylilies are listed in two groups. The first group includes daylilies that are available either May 29 or July 17. The daylilies in the second group are only available July 17.
