The Connecticut Daylily Society welcomes Region 4 members of the American Hemerocallis Society to enjoy a day of garden touring, and of fellowship with fellow daylily enthusiasts in honor of our 30th Anniversary. Our Regional President Luanne Madden will preside at a Regional Meeting Saturday, July 17 at 1:00 PM. A new Regional President will be elected and awards will be presented. You are expected to drive yourself to the available gardens; a GPS or other navigational device is recommended. Please bring an adequate quantity of water, or other non-alcoholic beverage of choice. The Connecticut Daylily Society is hopeful you'll support our wishes for a disposable plastic free visit. All expenses are your own, and please take any accumulated trash back home with you! We kindly request everyone have a mask at all times, and wear it correctly when with others.
Special Note: John O’Brien of O’Brien’s Nursery has asked us to remove his Nursery from the itinerary of ‘Gardens to Visit’. Both the Region 4 Regional Business Meeting and the Garden Judges Workshop 2 will take place at the Garden of Kim and Rob Krodel. The CT Daylily Society wishes John a successful business season.
Attendees may elect to stay over for additional garden visiting time on Sunday, July 18. Please have a copy of ‘Gardens to Visit’ with you. The Connecticut Daylily Society does not have a room rate agreement with any hotel, but we do suggest you stay at the DoubleTree, Windsor Locks for convenience. Our sole source of income to cover our expenses is our online, pre-paid daylily sale. All advance orders may be picked up at the garden of Cheryl Fox on Saturday, July 17. Thank you so much for supporting Region 4 Daylilies!
